Here’s how much you can expect to pay for OnePlus charging port repair.

Warranty repair: $0

Is your OnePlus phone still under the standard 12-month warranty? If so, you might be able to get your charging port repaired for free.

Note that the warranty only covers manufacturing defects, so if your OnePlus won’t charge due to accidental damage you will need to pay for repair.

If you have a OnePlus damage protection plan (purchased alongside your phone), you can get your charging port repaired at your plan’s stated deductible. OnePlus offers various insurance plans via Servify, each with different limits and upfront fees. All plans carry a $99 deductible for charging port repair.

OnePlus Protect, aka Accidental Damage Plan, costs $69 for 12 months of coverage on the OnePlus 7T, $89 for 12 months of coverage on the OnePlus 7 Pro 8GB RAM model and $165 for 24 months of coverage on the OnePlus 7 Pro 12GB RAM model.

OnePlus Protect Plus combines the Accidental Damage Plan with an extended warranty. It starts at $179 for 24 months of coverage on the OnePlus 6 6GB model and costs up to $199 for the OnePlus 6 12GB model.

Carrier insurance: $99

The only carrier that sells OnePlus phones is T-Mobile, so it’s the only carrier insurance option. Pricing depends on your phone tier.

For example, T-Mobile classifies the OnePlus 6T as a Tier 3 phone, so insurance is $12 per month. It classifies the OnePlus 7 Pro as a Tier 4 phone, so insurance is $14 per month.

In both cases, the charging port repair deductible is $99.

Professional OnePlus charging port repair: $79 to $129

Jet City Device Repair is one of the few mail-in phone repair services that advertises OnePlus charging port replacement. The company charges $89 to fix the charging port on all models it repairs.

One Hour Device Repair is another. They charge $79 to $129 for OnePlus charging port repair, depending on the model. Note: OnePlus offers its own repair service. However, the prices listed on its site are for parts only and do not include labor fees. A OnePlus chat support representative told us labor fees are not available for the United States, but you can still request a repair via its website.

You can repair your own OnePlus charging port with replacement parts from sites like Repairs Universe, Injured Gadgets, Etrade Supply and Witrigs. Follow repair guides on iFixit or YouTube. Note: Though OnePlus lists pricing for repair parts on its website, a OnePlus chat support representative told us they do not sell repair parts directly to the public.

Note that it can be difficult to find replacement parts and even professional repair services for some OnePlus phones. However, a local repair shop might be able to fix your phone and you might be able to find aftermarket replacement parts on eBay.
